Branch Annual General Meetings (BAGMs) will be held on 19 May 2018 and every year we run training sessions to help you best engage with these important events. They are are a great opportunity for members to step up your involvement in the democratic processes of Amnesty International Australia.
This year, Simon Rumore, National Vice President, will run an education session on how to draft a member resolution on Wednesday 2 May 2018. This session will equip participants with the tools to ask questions about the strategic direction of the organisation, how to draft a resolution on AI Australia’s core work to best achieve the goals of our 2020 Vision, give a who’s who of the governance roles at our AGMs and show how our governance is interconnected with the international movement.
