On this page you’ll find all the resources you need to take part in the 2021 Write for Rights (‘W4R’) campaign, our global letter-writing marathon which celebrates its 20th birthday this year and remains the world’s biggest human rights event.
You’re here because you want to make a difference to the lives of the many people worldwide who are under threat for standing up for what’s right. Whether you do this with a group of friends, classmates, your family or by yourself, the words you write will change lives.
Take action by signing petitions, writing letters to authorities, sending messages of support, attending a W4R event or organising your own event! Check out the W4R Activist Toolkit to find events near you and register your own event. The toolkit also contains useful tips and tricks for making the most of this year’s Write for Rights.
