Our Branch Annual General Meetings (BAGM) give you the chance to share your ideas and passion with Amnesty International Australia and our community of committed supporters.
You’ll be able to learn more about Amnesty International, get the low-down on our campaigns and successes over the past year, and hear about how you can promote and protect human rights in your community.

Unable to attend your BAGM in person? You can now direct your vote via another Amnesty International Australia member who is attending BAGM. Just download our sample BAGM proxy form, fill it out, and follow the instructions in the BAGM notice for your Branch on how to submit it.
This year, Simon Rumore, National Vice President, will run an education session on how to draft a member resolution on Wednesday 2 May 2018. This session will equip participants with the tools to ask questions about the strategic direction of the organisation, how to draft a resolution on Amnesty International Australia’s core work to best achieve the goals of our 2020 Vision, give a who’s who of the governance roles at our AGMs and show how our governance is interconnected with the international movement.
